Night Walk
I have things to do and the time to do them, but these past few days I can’t quite get to them.
‘There are days like that too,’ I said, and went out to play instead. I’ll do it tomorrow.
It’s the ‘alley’ (as we call it) the kids and I visit a couple times a week, but at night it looks quite different. There’s almost no metallic clang; it’s calm. The occasional bars aren’t all that loud either. Maybe because it’s a little away from the artists’ village where the young folks come.
Every narrow alley, too tight even for a motorbike to pass, has lighting, so from above it would probably look quite like a go board.
